We are in the midst of planning Keegan's first birthday party. WHAT? 12 months, already? Well, not quite yet...but I just can't even believe how fast this year has gone by.
Austin is getting ready to start his 3rd semester of Nursing School. This is bound to be a tough one, he has 15 credit hours, which wouldn't seem like a lot to someone unfamiliar with a nursing program. This is a lot. We are both going to be pushed to our limits...and so are grandma and grandpa. I don't think it is going to bother Keegan too much, because it means that she gets more playtime with grandpa...whom she LOVES.
Here's a quick story...Grandpa was laying on the couch taking a nap. Keegan crawled over to the couch to investigate the strange sound that was coming out of grandpa. She stood up near his feet, and slowly made her way down the couch to his head. She stood there about 10 inches from his face and with a inquizitive look on her face, began to make noises in an attempt at mimicking the noise that grandpa was making. After showering his face with spit, again, attempting to make that funny noise, she stumbled her way across a snort. I didn't see it, but I'm told the look on her face upon figuring out how to make the snoring noise was priceless. :)
